Parent Teacher Association
The mission of the Noonan Academy PTA is to support our school in achieving its overall mission to provide and maintain a superior education through rich academics. We demonstrate this in several ways:
1.) Organizing and hosting school activities.
2.) Organizing and hosting school fundraisers.
3.) Bringing families together through various social events.
4.) Listening to the needs, suggestions and concerns of our teachers.
5.) Maintaining a high level of communication between the PTA and our school principal.
We believe we maintain our high level of communication through our heavily advertised General Meetings, in which both parents and teachers are greatly encouraged to attend. Ideas, questions, concerns and needs are shared both through oral discussions and by anonymous written form. We also hold regular PTA Board Meetings where these ideas are further discussed and implemented.
Examples of events sponsored by the Noonan Academy PTA are: Annual Family Night Italian Dinner, Holiday Breakfast with Santa, Holiday Shopping Extravaganza, Easter Egg Hunt, and Spring Garage Sale.
Our non-fundraising activities include serving breakfast and/or lunch to faculty members on Teacher-In Service days.
We are always looking for new members and fresh ideas!
